hello!
I’m Em, a photographer and creative born in South London. Growing up, I was obsessed with galleries and documenting my daily life through vlogging on YouTube. Music was always part of my world too — I spent years doing musical theatre — but everything shifted when I went to my first music festival at 18. After attending Reading Festival, something clicked: I realised I didn’t want to be on stage performing, but instead working behind the scenes, helping bring the whole production together.
I studied Press and Editorial Photography at Falmouth University, graduating in 2020 with a First Class degree. I’m also the founder of the Noisy & Outspoken podcast, available across all major streaming platforms. The podcast hosts honest conversations with women and non-binary people about what it’s really like to work in the music industry, highlighting a wide range of career paths that I was never exposed to at school.
